Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. From the old vines over 45-years of age (seven pieces) this has a rather closed nose a first with touches of spice and dark berried fruit. It would benefit from just a little more vigour, although my sample may be affected by the atmospheric pressure. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe dark cherry and a touch of bergamot on the entry, bright and lively with succulent tart red cherries towards the finish. Linear at the moment, but decent length. Fine.
